About Phantriq

We started with
a question.

Why do security teams still open suspicious links manually?
Every decision we've made since November 2024 is an answer to that question.

"Security tools should remove decisions from the threat path — not add them. Phantriq exists to give analysts certainty, not more to investigate."

The design principle behind every Phantriq feature
Our journey

From idea to platform.
17 months.

Nov 2024
Concept & Architecture
Identified the core gap: traditional SEGs never actually execute suspicious content. Architectural decision: disposable browser isolation as the foundation.
Jan 2025
First Working Engine
URL analysis engine operational. FastAPI backend, Playwright-based disposable browser, Docker container isolation. First end-to-end analysis running in under 12 seconds.
Mar 2025
6-Layer Detection System
Multi-signal scoring launched: reputation, behavioral analysis, credential harvesting detection, redirect chain tracking, visual brand similarity, TLS validation. Detection rate crosses 85%.
May 2025
Full SOC Platform
Case management, triage queue, IOC correlation, playbook automation, analyst assignment, SLA tracking. Phantriq becomes a complete SOC workflow, not just a scanner.
Jul 2025
Enterprise Integrations
Gmail, Microsoft 365, Slack, Teams, Splunk, CrowdStrike, VirusTotal connectors. Multi-tenant architecture, RBAC, MFA, full audit logging. Built for enterprise from day one.
Oct 2025
Attachment Scanning & Security Hardening
Sandboxed attachment analysis, static malware detection, Docker-in-Docker isolation. Production security audit completed: CORS, brute-force protection, header hardening.
Jan 2026
Admin & Vendor Portal
Full multi-tenant vendor dashboard, org management, feature flags, usage analytics, audit trail. Platform ready for enterprise deployment at scale.
Apr 2026
Private Beta — Platform Ready
Benchmark v5: 94% detection rate, F1 score 0.895. Currently onboarding select enterprise security teams. Seeking seed investment to accelerate go-to-market.

Built Phantriq from the ground up — architecture, detection engine, SOC platform, enterprise integrations, and frontend. Motivated by a belief that security tooling has been too slow to evolve for how threats actually work today.

What we stand for

Three principles that guided every technical decision.

Security first
Every architectural choice prioritizes isolation and containment. We don't cut corners on sandboxing to save compute — because one escape is a catastrophe.
Depth over breadth
It's better to do URL and email analysis exceptionally well than to be a mediocre platform that does everything. Enterprise security teams need tools they can trust completely.
Analyst-first design
The analyst's cognitive load is the product's responsibility. Verdicts should be certain, workflows should be fast, and false positives should be rare enough to be remarkable.
